Yesterday Peluche turned three and it was the first time someone would actually celebrate his birthday. So we thought he deserved a cake! 🎂

I absolutely love to cook, but never bake anything. When I see all those Pinterest dog birthday cakes, I already know it’s not for me. 🤣

So I came up with a super easy dog birthday cake! It’s not one to post pretty pictures of on Instagram, but your dogs will love it! 😍

What you’ll need:

1 banana 🍌

100 g of rice flour or chickpea flour

1,5 teaspoon of baking powder

1 egg 🥚

30g of almonds

50g of skinny yoghurt (take some extra for the topping)

1,75 dl water

1 tablespoon of vegetable oil like olive oil 🫒

Let’s get started!

1. Heat up the oven to 200°C.

2. Peel the banana and mash it with a fork.

3. Mix the flour, baking powder and almonds.

4. Add the banana, yoghurt, water, egg and oil.

5. Mix everything very well together.

6. Pour the mix in a cake tray and put it in the oven for 20-25min.

7. Let it cool down for 10min. in the tray, then take it out.

8. Put yoghurt and dog cookies on top.

9. Time to party! 🎉
